Case study

Five years of search cut cost per lead 55% for a Sydney CBD physio

Evoker treats patients from its Martin Place rooms in the Sydney CBD. Most people find it by searching for their injury and an area close to the office, so search was the whole job.

How patients find a physio

Someone with a sore shoulder in the CBD searches for the problem and a nearby suburb. The practice needed to show up for both, across the conditions and treatments it offers.

SEO and Google Ads on one plan

We ran search for Evoker from May 2018 to June 2023, 62 active months without a break.

  • SEO built out condition, treatment and location pages steadily, month by month, rather than in short campaigns.
  • Google Ads stayed live year round on treatment searches, reviewed every month. Paid filled the gaps: conditions and suburbs the organic pages did not cover yet. As those pages ranked, the ads were pulled back to match.
  • Measurement was rebuilt on GA4 and conversions tied to booked appointments. Cost per lead was worked out from real bookings, not form fills. That gave the practice one number to judge both channels by.

What five years produced

Cost per lead dropped 55%. The site's total link count grew 258%. And 38% of the keywords we targeted made it onto page one.
